Privacy Policy

1) Overview

AlertMind AI helps SRE teams manage alerts and knowledge with AI-powered automation in Slack and Microsoft Teams ("Platforms"). We minimize the data we process and keep tenant data isolated.

2) Data We Process

We process the following types of data:

  • Workspace / tenant identifiers (e.g., Slack team ID, Teams tenant/org ID, app installation IDs).
  • Bot access tokens issued by the Platforms to deliver messages and respond to commands.
  • Configuration values you set (e.g., enabled features, webhook secrets, API keys for your tools), encrypted at rest.
  • User messages that directly involve the app (e.g., slash commands, app mentions, interactive actions) and files you explicitly upload to build your knowledge base.
  • Operational metadata (timestamps, basic logs, error diagnostics) for reliability and abuse prevention.

What we don't collect

We do not read channel history we're not added to.

We do not read users' direct messages unless a user messages the bot or uploads content to the bot.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

3) How We Use Data

We use the above data only to:

  • Respond to your commands, app mentions, and interactive actions.
  • Generate incident summaries/digests you request.
  • Ingest and search the knowledge base content you explicitly provide.
  • Operate core features like auto-ACK workflows and integrations you enable (e.g., PagerDuty, Jira, GitLab).

4) Storage & Security

Each tenant's data is logically isolated.

Secrets and credentials are encrypted at rest.

Uploaded documents and derived embeddings are stored in tenant-scoped storage (e.g., private folders and per-tenant vector DBs).

Transport uses HTTPS/TLS.

5) Retention

Uploaded content and embeddings persist until you delete them or uninstall the app.

Operational logs are retained for a limited time for reliability and security, then rolled off.

If you uninstall the app, we remove platform tokens immediately and schedule tenant data for deletion as described below.

6) Deletion & Export

You can request deletion or export of your tenant's data at any time via our Support page. We will verify admin authority and complete deletion within a reasonable period.

7) Sub-processors & Transfers

We may use reputable cloud providers for hosting, storage, and compute. Data may be processed in the region of our infrastructure providers and is protected under our security controls.

8) Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a new effective date.
